For 2023 we are on the lookout for exciting, fun, interesting, educational and, not least, unique events, which are all about celebrating brews from Denmark. 

An event can be anything really and there are (almost) no limits on how you can contribute. How about arranging a unique tap take-over, a special beer and food pairing, a fine-tuned gourmet dinner with the appropriate beer menu, a beer- yoga session or even a 'nerdy' talk on fermentation…

We particularly encourage breweries and other actors to team up and are happy to help matchmaking.

GUIDELINE FOR EVENTS

Here are some Event Hosting Guidelines for signing up:

  • Events must take place during CPHBW 5th - 13th of May 2023.
  • You submit events via a web template at the bottom of the page. Here you add some basic information as well as a catchy headline and description of whatever you are planning. Please also forward an image you would like to have displayed in the program. Please make sure that CPHBW has the right to use the photo in context of promoting your event and CPHBW as such.
  • CPHBW is a collection of curated events and activities, spanning multiple days, that celebrate Danish beer and the brewing community. Thus, CPHBW ultimately decides whether an event will be included in the program. CPHBW reserves the right to edit in all event-texts up to and during the festival, in order to ensure uniform tone of voice on all CPHBW’s channels.

It is up to the event-organizer whether participation is free of charge or if it requires the purchase of a ticket. In case of ticket sales the following guidelines do apply:

  • All tickets must be sold through Copenhagen Beer Week's ticketing platform: Madbillet.dk.
  • In order to receive the ticket revenue, event-organizers must create a profile at madbillet.dk. Please ask for assistance if needed and we will guide you through the process.
  • An additional ticketing fee will be added, which is shared equally between the ticketing platform madbillet.dk and CPHBW. The additional fee is set at 10 DKK for tickets costing 1-150 DKK and 20 DKK for tickets from 151 DKK. 
  • CPHBW takes no responsibility regarding the organizer's suspension of payments, bankruptcy or any complaints from the ticket buyer in terms of the quality of the event or other matters concerning the event.

MARKETING

  • All events during CPHBW should be highlighted on social platforms. Please make sure to tag Copenhagen Beer Week on - Facebook: @copenhagenbeerweek - Instragram with #cphbw2023
  • You can find our Logos and visuals here. Feel free to share them and to use them.
  • All CPHBW events are actively promoted through the official program on the website. Events may also be selectively promoted via social media. Overall we will strengthen the CPHBW brand by making it visible through printed materials such as flyers, posters and on other relevant media.
